Every piece begins millions of years ago — in the stone itself.
I work with new and ancient materials: glass, obsidian, jasper, chert, novaculite, and other prehistoric stones, shaping them into arrowheads the way our ancestors did. But each one carries something new: an original poem, written to live alongside it, and a song to inspire others to share in its story.
The Poems
The stone holds time. The poem holds meaning. Together, they’re something you won’t find anywhere else.
The Songs
Each poem also lives as a song. The same words that accompany the stone have been set to music — another layer of the story you can carry with you.
At Paleo Poet Studios, I honor the intersection of the ancient and the contemporary. Each piece is shaped by hand, and every lyric is written with intent. To weave the unique sonic textures that accompany these works, I utilize advanced generative tools to assist in composition, bridging the gap between primitive craftsmanship and modern expression.
